UTI antibiotics, Macrobid?

Hey follow up question from my previous post; i was put on nitrofurantoin and i took 2 pills yesterday, one in the morning and one at night. i took one pill today.

my uti seems to be getting a lot better but now i’m experiencing a little bit of itching down there. is it a side effect? its my first uti and my first time taking these antibiotics.

any help is appreciated thank u!
