Guy I’m seeing can’t get it up

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the right place to put this. I’m (30f) started dating someone (30m) and I’ve been on seven dates and it’s been great. During our third date. I tried to initiate, but he said he wanted to get to know me more which I was taken back but respected. After a while, I was getting suspicious if he was just a nice guy or stalling. Of course, I finally figured out that he has a ED problem. He says it’s not true but with new partners it’s very hard for him to get it up within the first few months. He says he doesn’t have a problem when he’s alone masturbating. But I would say it’s ED problem because he can’t get it up with past partners or me. he had a doctors appointment and we will see how that goes. I just wanted advice. Does it get better? Has anyone experiences? Sadly, I feel like I might end this even even though he’s a great guy because I do enjoy spontaneous sex or just having sex life. Is there any positive stories of it getting better?
