Why are last year's birthday shoot pictures being used for this year's lives?

I've been noticing that wakeone has been using last year's birthday pictures for this year's lives as well and they also haven't been posting any birthday announcements like last year(at least on instagram), which I find a little odd? Is this just another low effort thing they're doing?
