Some of you laugh when I joke about discourse of the week on here so I felt like sharing something for debate I haven’t seen posted lol
I just saw a “male findom” open his dumbass mouth and begin comparing condoning cheating to condoning CSAM (It’s not CP it’s abuse material not porn you weird bitch 🙄) and I was in the shower thinking “wow a man finding another space to hate and degrade women as if enough of those don’t exist already but now you wanna get paid more for it as if you don’t statistically already” 🙄 lmao.
I started thinking a lot about how a man engaging in financial domination might be perceived, especially in the context of our patriarchal society. It feels like another way for him to elevate himself and exert power over women, playing into existing power dynamics. It's made me question what this kink means to me and others. There's something inherently strange about a man inserting himself into a kink that's about supremacy, especially when we live in a society dominated by patriarchy – it's ironic.
Maybe I'm being critical or overly cautious about it, but I'd really like to hear from women and non-binary folks about their thoughts on men in findom. It's a bit confusing because on one hand, people might see it as a form of empowerment or reclaiming control over finances and sexuality for the sub . On the other hand, I feel concern that it just reinforce stereotypes or perpetuates power dynamics that disadvantage women and other marginalized groups. I think these discussions are important for understanding how this kink intersects with broader issues of consent, agency, and societal norms.
Obviously this doesn’t touch on Male/Male dynamics but I have no experience on that or much of an opinion worth sharing 🤷🏻♀️ if you want to abuse each other with your own system go ahead 😂 I can rant about the sociology/sociobiology, psychology, and stupidity of “I’m alpha you beta” dynamics if you want but this post alone might already hurt your ego lmao
