BRIBE in UPSC "asking for bribe in upsc interview'

So my friends sister got selected in upsc interview.. But didnt qualify.. As he said..the pannel was asking a bribe of 1 cr.. And my friend didn't have that much money back then.. He's a really good friend..so he obviously wont lie ..this new is 5 years old ... What u guys have to say?... I feel it was either u need to pay money to qualify interview (average and low scorers, and amount of bribe depend on how low marks they have scored) And someone with really high marks qualify without any money

Orrrr We need to give money to become an ias..
