Unpopular Opinion - Recent Gold Changes are bad

The patch made some good changes but am I the only one who think the gold changes were poorly handled? They nerf the Valby run, which is a consistent way to farm gold, and told us they will be changing other gameplay modes to allow us to obtain more gold. I was expecting a 2-3x more gold drop rewards in Special Operation, but instead they made ALL their gold changes behind an RNG cash bag that drops from Elites who randomly spawns? That's such a terrible move. Now gold has become an RNG thing to farm too,

People are also reporting the void shard drop rates in special operation is minuscule.
