Vacation with Friend or with Boyfriend

I (24F) recently had agreed to go with my friend, (24F) on vacation as she’s been wanting to go on one badly. My boyfriend (24M) also has now decided he wants to go on vacation and booked the two of us for a trip in August around the same dates I had planned on vacationing with my friend. I did let him know I wanted to do something with her, but the place we found was a really good deal but only fits 2 people (has 1 bed) and I’m sure she wouldn’t want to now third wheel on what was supposed to be a girls trip. Am I now wrong for canceling on my friend and letting her know I can no longer do vacation with her because I now have plans with my boyfriend? No money has been put forth towards the trip and we had not even decided on a destination.. but the verbal confirmation was there and I don’t want her upset now that I am backing out.
