did vikings use LIBERTY CAPS?
i asked this same question previously, but NOBODY understood that i was NOT talking about amanita muscaria. i am talking about liberty caps, active ingredient being psilocybin. I have heard of muscaria being used for all that berserker business time and time again and that's not what i'm looking for.
did vikings use liberty caps for religious, ceremonial and cultural practices? or could it just have been a fun thing they picked every once in a while? my guess is that magic mushrooms could not have gone under the radar, i swear if one viking ate it everybody would have learned of the intense psychadelic effects, and maybe it developed into a more ceremonial thing?
the discussion with my mother-in-law is still heated, so please help me out here.
