Missed 3 doses of amoxicillin and toothache returned stronger

Prescribed 500MG amoxicillin every 8 hours for 10 days (30 pills total). Took about half of the bottle since last week and pain went away. I am 37 weeks pregnant and had a labor scare over the weekend. Which led to me forgetting my antibiotic in the car. I realized the next day and began taking it as scheduled. Now my toothache has returned stronger than before and I'm miserable. I'm set to have a tooth extraction once baby is here.

Has anyone ever missed a day of dosing, finished the remaining pills and pain went away?
