27M Cali/Online- high standards, higher quality friendships

Years ago I asked my therapist friend “how long did the honeymoon phase last for you?” He looked at me and unwaveringly said that’s he’s never felt like it stopped once in the past 20 years.

I’ve had high standards for choosing friends and especially those I’ve fallen for. But I think that’s a great thing?

I know people on Reddit are almost exclusively temporary, but I have found some gems and continue to search for more!!!

A bit about me;

Asian American, working professional that was given the opportunity to go back to school to pursue a higher career! I love art galleries, mom and pop restaurants, and staying home and binging comfort shows or kdramas!

I’ve been learning how to cook more, emphasis on learning bc my family has only ever eaten the pasta I’ve made and nothing else LOL.
