How to show capital gains on property sold in 2022. Sale date not being shown in filing form

Hi All,

I sold a property A in July 2022 and subsequently bought another property B in July 2023. Now I am filing for the FY 23-24 but the earliest sale date of property sale that I am allowed to enter is 1st April 2023. I am aware that one has 2 years to buy a new property to avoid the tax on the capital gains arising out of property A. Can you please guide how to enter this in this years returns? The same was never declared in last years's returns as the property B had already been purchased so we thought we can show it in the upcoming year's returns.
