Our next Character to be Eliminated r/RWBY is James Ironwood with a score of -14! That’s right once again Penny dodges the No Protection Curse, and she has now passed it off to Zwei who tied with Blake for a Protection Score of +3 but had fewer Elimination Votes than her.

Well, after this I don’t think there is much point in playing coy anymore. It is clear that Penny is in the lead, she has survived several No Protection Rounds in dominant fashion and is getting enough Protection Votes when she can get them to completely discourage attacking her then. It calls to mind the impressive run u/JannisT had last year doing the same with Ruby.
Not to say there aren’t challengers. Blake is the reigning champion and is still in this and has maintained enough support to stay even while avoiding the loss of Protection that doomed two of her teammates this contest. And there a still quite a few well liked Characters in the running that don’t have as vocal of a fan base but could certainly take over should Penny or Blake’s supporters push their luck too far.
Tomorrow we will have voting for the next Special Round. I have to say, I am surprised that the most extreme Special Rounds have been the ones to be selected each time so far. Will that continue tomorrow, or now that the roster has been winnowed a bit more thoroughly will you choose the safer more reliable options.
