Is anyone else having issues launching the game?

I installed Rivals through steam but i have not been able to play it at all because I keep getting errors saying DirectX 12 is not supported on my system, my drivers are up to date and when i verify the local files on steam it says one of the files failed to validate and will be reaquired. any fixes?
