Help with new SSD

I just got a new Crucial BX500 1TB SSD. I went to the website and downloaded the software to clone my old SSD to my new one. While cloning the first time I accidentally canceled and now 49MB of my 1TB has been used and I keep getting an error while trying to clone it again. I feel like the issue is from my new SSD already having some of my important files on it and that is causing the fail. How can I free up that 49MB and start over from scratch? Thank you for any help!!
