Is it a good idea to let your family help you study rather than being absent from them due to studying?

I’m currently pre med with a family of 4 (fiancé and 2 small babies) usually one has to debate entering med school with a young family because of the studying and being absent from family time. An idea hit my mind, what if I could make flash cards and study guides and have them quiz me on material. Maybe I can create more ways to incorporate the family with my studying. Is that a good thought or is it best I stay to myself to fully focus on the material? Thanks
