Would getting a tattoo hurt my future chances of getting a job in this industry?

As Title says, I really would love to get a tattoo, but there is that worry that if I were to get them it could seriously impair my future chances of working in the industry.

Could people who are already present elaborate on how the internal view of tattoos is? Is it still very conservative and for some reason people who have tattoos are discriminated against, or are people generally just relaxed and don't care?
