Is buying a dildo and then throwing it away out of shame a common thing among those who were "in denial"?

31 - had always dabbled in gay porn and had ordered a dildo a few times because i was "curious" then i'd get ashamed like days later and throw it away out of fear of someone finding it and convince myself I'm straight. Now im like -how dumb was i? did anyone else do this lol
