Suddenly no mobile data (voice & sms) after a month in new rural home.
Hi,
I just was just sent a replacement SIM in an effort to rectify the issue of no mobile data that has for over two weeks now repeatedly manifested in the display of various messages including "No radio" and "Turn off airplane mode or connect to a wireless network to make a call" (I am connected to Wi-Fi, and Airplane mode is disabled.) each time I try to make or recieve a call or text message.
I powered off the phone, exchanged the cards, and am still getting no service.
Under 'SIM info & settings' I see:
Enable (toggled ON)
SIM name T-Mobile
SIM number It was blank. I edited it to
read: [my 10-digit number]
Wi-Fi Calling I have tried both On and Off.
I thought maybe recent Wi-Fi
network issues I was having may
be causing problems, but I have
thoroughly upgraded and examined
my LAN and it's working beautifully.
But the phone app is not working.
I can do wireless printing but no
voice nor SMS.
Preferred Network type 5G/4G/3G/2G (Auto)
Access point names T-Mobile LTE is the only option,
and it is specified at 'fast.t-mobile.com'
Carrier Now reads 'No services'
What do you suggest to regain service? When I webchatted a couple of days ago (something I can no longer find a link to do) I mentioned: I had great service for a month at this location, my new address, before it stopped altogether.
