Finally got my Class 6 (Motorcycle license), confused on what I should purchase as a first bike

Thanks everyone for stopping by to read my lengthy post. Hope y'all have an extraordinary day.

After a tedious procedure of mandatory driving school, exams, finally got my full motorcycle license. I asked around for people who ride what I should buy and most replies does not make sense (One recommended me a GSX-R 1000, because he has one, but I clearly stated I need the bike to be comfortable to crushing miles, and someone have told me just get the biggest Vespa GTS 300 since I am so used to riding a Vespa)

My background is, due to licensing restrictions, I have been riding 50cc Vespa and Piaggo scooters for over 79,000km (49,375miles), and I also have approx. 20,000km (12,500miles) experience riding Can Am Ryker. But I am still very new to motorcycle world. I have took the 50cc scooter on 1,000km(600miles) trips, rode it in heavy rain storm, light snow, hail and all kind of weather conditions.

I do have some idea of what I would like my new bike to feature. Since the new bike will replace my BMW 8 Series Coupe, my Ryker, I would like this bike to be comfortable in all kind of weather conditions, reliable for long trips as my job requires me to take a 120km(80miles) round trip daily and long trip down to southern US from Canada for the winter.

Basically I am looking for :

  • I don't want sport bike, off road bike, or anything has to do with performance, comfort is number 1 priority

  • Comfortable long range cruiser/mile crusher that has cruise control(hopefully)

  • Automatic transmission, due to extremely heavy traffic, hills we experience here

  • Able to carry 2 adult (5ft10, pax and 5ft8, me) and luggage

  • Longer maintenance interval, and high reliability

  • Have some sort of infotainment display, preferably Apple CarPlay, I have 3 phones ruined due to extreme heat sitting on my mirror mount for my Vespa

  • Engine size does not matter, but would prefer something with better mpg due to high mileage

  • Have a good warranty, and good availability of spare parts and good dealer network. As I stated earlier I will be using this bike both in Canada and US

  • Good safety features, such as ABS and ASR(which I currently do not have in 50cc scooters, it was scary when it was just enough water on the pavement)

  • I am looking for a new bike, and don't really have a budget, I would like this bike to last 5-6 years before I need to purchase another one.

Let me know what y'all's opinion on what I should be purchasing. Thanks everyone again!

Cheers!

Samuel
