Is an Arch Linux Laptop with 7840U Enough for 1080p Video Editing on DaVinci Resolve?
I recently found a great deal on a Framework 13 AMD laptop with a 7840U and I'm wondering if it would be sufficient for 1080p video editing on DaVinci Resolve. The alternative I'm considering is an ROG G14 with an RX 6800S.
Currently, I run Arch on an old, small, light 12.5" laptop for on-the-move writing (with the best integrated keyboard ever made, if you see what I mean) and a MacBook Pro for video editing. However, I'm tired of carrying both around everywhere I go and I'm looking for something that can handle both tasks and last for a while.
Would the Framework 13 AMD with the 7840U be enough, or should I go for the ROG G14 with the dedicated GPU?
