Can I sue a towing company for leaving stranded for too long

The other day my truck broke down in a paking lot in the middle of nowhwre. I called for road side assistance and they said they would have a tow truck here in an hour. That hour ended up turning into 8 hours. It was hot and I had no food and water. There was nothing around within a 6 mile radius. By the time they showed up, I was nearly fainting. I could have died of a heat stroke. Can I sue so towing company or at least the road side assistance company?
