Dental laser: phantom smell?

(Sometimes I’m a bit of a hypochondriac, cannot help it) Because of my tinnitus, my first cavity was fixed with a dental laser this morning. It was an upper molar. My tinnitus is stable, so I’m relieved. However, I still smell that nasty burned smell every now and then. I have no problem smelling other things, so I probably just need some reassurance… I really stressed out this morning and I might not be over it yet 😅 Thank you!
