How does touch input compare on the OLED vs LCD?

Is the OLED’s touchscreen more reliable?

I’ve had the LCD for about a year and a half and in that time the touch screen experience has consistently sucked (not registering inputs, inaccurate, etc).

Would also like to ask if there exists a software method of placing the desktop pointer at the center average of the touch input?
