Making a career transition into cybersecurity from data science.

I look to make a career pivot into cybersecurity from data science. From my personal research, I've found threat intelligence as one that appeals me most due to my skills and experience in data science and machine learning.

My current job is quite demanding and therefore for the most part of the year I am time poor. So enrolling in a post-graduate course in cyber security may not be the best way forward for that reason.

What are the alternative pathways to make the transition? and do you know of any other areas similar to threat intelligence that someone with data science background can transfer skills into?
