Stuck at the airport for an hour because of protestor

Why are protesters like this? This doesn’t send any message this is just pure annoyance. We just came back from a 4 hour plane and now we’re stuck at the airport in a taxi for an hour because of protestors. Worst part is nobody can do anything but wait for the cops because it would be considered aggravated assault. These protesters need to learn a lesson (this is not the first time that they do this). They’re protesting about gas and stuff like that but here they are causing a situation where more gas is emitted (traffic) than if they let us drive. Almost all the taxi drivers are going on the grass to flee the situation but they shouldn’t have to! This is not how you manifest this is just being a plain disturbance to society.
