Acne comes and goes

I tried acutane a few times and it worked great but acne always came back after a few months. Now i have really dry eyes and will never take acutane again. Everyone sees good results with benzoyl peroxide. How do you guys use it? I get really irritaed skin cause of it and i think my acne gets worse like that.

The interesting thing is i have times where i have zero acne. No face washing, no benzoyl nothing. Do you think the reason is hormones or maybe food?
