Okay, so.. Carb swapping...

I just posted asking about mechanical fuel injection, but if I would wanna swap my 4.3 from efi to carbureted, what would I need to look into? I have a 99 Sonoma zr2 4.3, currently automatic(soon to be manual). What do I need to know generally about carbureting an efi engine, and what specific to the 4.3 Vortec? What do I need to worry about when looking for an intake manifold, blah blah blah, etc. Even if you don't want to write a book about it in the comments, point me to a good resource for it?
