Ferritin supposedly went up without iron supplementation but low iron symptoms are worse?

Just got my ferritin checked as I've been feeling like its low but it was actually OK (originally had ferritin of 11 in 2022- got iron infusion which fixed it). Ferritin in May 2022 was 171 (a few months after the infusion), February 2023 was 122, February 2024 was 67. I don't get periods because of the pill I'm on. I also have not taken an iron containing multi-vitamin in over 6 months. Today it was 91 but I feel like I did when it was low again- tired, heart palpitations, ADHD is worse. Could the test today be artificially high for some reason?
