Tell me something that causes you to become instantly enraged
I've been going to this coffee shop near my college for a few weeks now. It's become my little sanctuary. I always snag the corner table by the door to the kitchen—it's perfect. Feels tucked away and cozy, plus there's an outlet right next to it for when my laptop needs juice. The place is locally and family-owned, super cute with a great vibe, and the coffee is top-notch. The staff? Always super friendly and professional.
But the last couple of weeks, there's been this girl showing up who I think might be the owner or at least related to the owner. And let me tell you, she's been a total nightmare. She's constantly rude to the employees, but there's one girl she seems to pick on the most. This poor girl is a server and, from what I've gathered, she's pregnant. You'd think people would be supportive, right? Not this lady.
One day, I was sitting in my usual spot, trying to focus on my studies, when I overheard the nightmare lady giving the pregnant server a hard time. The server had rushed to the bathroom, clearly needing to throw up, and this lady had the nerve to say, "Maybe you shouldn't have gotten pregnant."
I saw red. Who does that? Who talks to someone like that, especially a pregnant woman who's obviously struggling? The rage bubbled up so fast I could hardly think straight. I wanted to storm over there and give that lady a piece of my mind. My hands were shaking, my heart was pounding, and I could feel my face getting hot.
It's like, here I am in this cozy little coffee shop, a place that's supposed to be a haven, and this woman is just ruining it with her toxic attitude. It's infuriating. I couldn't believe someone could be so callous and mean-spirited.
So, here's my question: One- Am I crazy for feeling like that? Two- Is it normal to get instantly enraged like that? Three- Have you ever felt that way and If so, what kinds of things make you see red?
