New player question

Hey guys im really new on the game, less than 10 hours so far, love the game and how ruthless it is

The thing is when i watch videos of dayz, players are finding full build weapons on the ground when on my games I can only find craps without a magazine, I know most players aren't playing on the classic servers, how do you guys look for this kind of loot ? is it on certain spawns only or something to do with the server choice, Thank you for your help !
