Ever since high school, we’d been trying to make it big. Countless musicians had done it before, starting off in their parents’ garage, playing gigs until they finally hit their big break - it only made sense that we’d start the same way, right?

High school ended ten years ago, and we still had nothing to show for it. No label, no record deals and even gigs were drying up. Turns out no one understood our creative genius.

It was while moping around after practice one day that we came upon a vending machine right outside a local convenience store. It was new, decked out in fancy colours and covered with anime characters: one of those fancy machines from Japan, we figured.

“Yume Lemonade Makes Your Dreams Come True,” read the slogan. Well, not like we were particularly close to those dreams as things stood. And so, for a laugh, we decided to each down a can of Yume, agreeing on our shared dream: to make it big in the music scene, to play to millions of adoring fans.

We just didn’t know how wild things would get.

The premise of this story is, as you can guess, about some average, fairly talentless band members drinking some magical lemonade that causes their dreams to come true - only not quite in the way they imagined.

They wake up not as themselves, but as the newest members of a Japanese idol group, having to adjust to their new reality and way of life.

Their talents and fortunes aren’t the only things that have changed, however, as the new idols soon find themselves far more interested in their band mates than the girls they’d been chasing after.

This is an open ended prompt with a relatively equal focus on story and smut. It would be nice for this to become something of a romantic story as well, as they eventually embrace their new lives, but all of this is up for discussion. I am looking for literate partners who are willing to contribute as much as I am - not just looking for purely reactive writers, please!
