Can I apply to UAB now if I’ve been working there for a month and I want free tuition?

Hi! I started working for UAB July 8 and I’d like to apply to go to school there starting Spring 2025. Should I wait to apply after the 6 months has passed or am I good to apply now since classes will likely start January 8 or after? The 6 months will likely be over by the time payment is due for spring classes.
