WINZ travel help.

I have been offered a free two month holiday as I haven’t travelled before and a friend’s parents will be paying for absolutely everything so I can come with.

I am currently on WINZ jobseeker support and I’m scared I’m going to be treated poorly because of this opportunity. I will be telling them and hoping to pause my benefit instead of going off it so I don’t have to reapply when I’m back.

Can anyone give me advice on if they’ve travelled on winz before for a non essential reason and if they were treated differently or asked a million different accusatory questions?

Some WINZ workers are so polite but the odd ones are actually so rude and horrifying to deal with.
