Interview at a different branch than where i applied?

Does Chase make you sometimes drive to a different branch for your in person interview? I got a call from a branch 40 miles away to schedule an interview. Of course the person called 20 minutes before they leave for the day and i missed the call.

I really dont feel like driving 40 miles to go to an interview for a local branch position. Does this happen? Or is this person just scheduling for someone else? Seems very odd to me
