Does anybody else self medicate stomach pains with weed?

I saw a doctor Friday and am going to see a GI specialist in a couple weeks. The last year has been rough and I do very physical work in the heat so I smoke weed to cope with the pain. Anybody else? Sidenote: I'm not trying to encourage weed use just wondering if anybody uses it for stomach pain/inflamation
