[bedrock] Trying to make a map room with a big map on 9 item frames to show the area of my base

So i’ve been trying to do this for a while now but i understand if i get a explorer map which is level 0/4 and go all the way to the border and keep running it will eventually become a white dot yes? and once u get that white dot u right click for another explorer map that’s 0/4 and you do that nine times to fill in the item frames. however i have ran for thousands of blocks and i still haven’t gotten that white dot on the border of my level 0/4 map. Anyone have an idea on how to help? Thank you
