Depo Provera causing IC flare ups?

I just recently switched to depo birth control about 8 months ago and when I was on this years ago I would get crazy IC flares, even with an amazingly healthy lifestyle. Now I’m dealing with IC flares more than anything yet again. Does estrogen suppression cause this? Or just a change in hormones in general?
