Is it worth it to read gnostic books?

So when I look up best books for gnostic beliefs I get the same recommendations in most places. When I look up books for Luciferianism it seems I find many different options. Basically I'm having a hard time deciding what to read but gnosticism does interest me and I feel there is lots of crossover knowledge, what do you guys think?
