How do I style a straight, falls to my forehead with a weak wind type hair.

I'm a male. I recently got my haircut and I decided the just let the barber cut the sides and let the top be long, for reference, it reaches the bridge of my nose. I bought texture powder but I have no idea how I'm supposed to style it with the texture powder. I perferably want to keep it long since my face shape is oval
