Information about accommodation

I am looking for a hotel, guesthouse or hostel outside of the Boston area for price and availability, and if possible, close to public transportation so I can settle in until I find a private room or apartment. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it.

I live in Florianopolis Santa Catarina Brazil, I am not familiar with the area.

These are the locations of my schools, both in Cambridge:

• Massachusetts Ave (New Acropolis)
• Technology Square (MIT)
