[DISCUSSION] THE FUTURE FOR ROCK MUSIC?

I’ve noticed in the past couple of years that there have been a lot of newer bands/rock acts starting to implement electronic elements into their music (polyphia would be a good example). With newer bands starting to add new elements of electronic music through 808 bass, synths or even trap styled drums, do y’all think that we will be seeing a musical movement/transition in which the concept of rock music will become heavily electronic as it is heavy on guitar during the 2020’s? I think that kind of progression in rock is inevitable with the advancements of in-home studio technology, but I would like to know other people’s perspectives on the topic.
