I'm reading through the Silmarillion, and the maps of Beleriand I'm finding on Google are very different and I'm trying to match them up as I'm reading. The blue part of the first map seems to be a fairly accurate reproduction of the original map that Christopher Tolkein included in the first edition, but that original map ended with the Blue Mountains (Ered Luin) and I'm wondering how accurate the overlay with the 3rd age map is. The 2nd map seems to be a cleaner version with greater detail and more named locations. The 3rd map, and I few others I've found, are confusing me because it puts Beleriand north of Lindon and the Grey Havens by extending the Blue Mountains further south than shown in the original map by Christopher Tolkein.

So which one is correct I don't know how what the source of the 3rd map is but I'm finding quite a few that are drawn that way, so which one is more correct? The main problem seems to be the location of the Grey Havens. Was it on the coastline during the first age or was it inland until the sinking of Beleriand?

Also, is there an original map of valinor or arda with detail that was drawn by Christopher or JRR Tolkien or is this one just completely fan made? The continent of Aman on the 3rd map seems fairly accurate to what I'm reading but Middle Earth and Beleriand have multiple interpretations

Which of these first age maps is the most correct?
