does it get better 😭 - last hour of gann by r lee smith

currently at 29% and although i love amber and i somewhat like meoraq, the other characters are so fucking annoying 😭 i like the plot and i heard great reviews about this but someone please give me words of encouragement (without spoilers obvs) to continue because this seems so slow 😭
