Is it 510 threaded? Can't say I like its looks but I'll definitely give it a try when they are in production if the coils last a few months!
Yeah, 510 thread. He's still fiddling with the design but hopefully he'll stop soon and just manufacture the darned thing.
I mentioned a while ago that Arthur at http://www.e-cigarettesonlineshop.co.uk/en/ was going to give me a prototype Clearomizer to try out after I had a go on his one when I went to see him. I was asked for a picture so here it is.
I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and I love it. All the components are top notch. I'm not the most experienced vaper - I've never built my own atomizer for instance - but this thing knocks the socks off any of the standard clearomizers I've used. The coil is rated at 2.2 ohms and I'm using it at 4.4 - 4.6 volts on this battery (I don't even know what type of battery it is!) and it produces more vapour, flavour and throat hit than my Protank/Umax combo.
The coil is good for several months according to Arthur and so far I believe that - a good soak in boiled water and a dry burn once the wick's dried out a bit gets all the gunk off. The tank holds about 3.5ml I think and is filled using a syringe. I have noticed that despite the lovely vapour production, it goes through liquid more slowly than the Protank. This could just be because I take fewer puffs on it - I seem to get my fill much quicker!
Anyway, sorry for the wall of text, but I was asked for a picture so here it is. I'm hoping Arthur will start production soon because I'd like a spare in case I drop this bad boy.
Happy vaping!
that definitely looks cool. my question is what makes the design different in this clearo as to cause the coil to last so much longer then other clearomizers?
i also notice it looks as if it is top coil. can you confirm this?
Well the coil and wick are larger than in any of the other clearomizers that I've used. Arthur also says the materials used are of the highest possible purity and quality, so perhaps that helps?

It is top coil. The vapour is nice and warm.
