Should we do a chickenpox vaccine?
I never had chickenpox as a child and I’m contemplating getting a vaccine for myself when the baby will go to nursery.
I’m not sure if I get the vaccine if that means I will have a live virus and therefore give it to the baby?
From what I can see online the vaccine is effective for 20 years or so.. which is a bit counterintuitive to give to a baby given they would not suffer from getting it at an early age.
Curious to hear if anyone has done and their experiences.
