Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentioned some signs that the Day of Judgment is near and explained how and when the Jewish prince will come (although Islam and Judaism have different views about who this person is).

• Some of Prophet Muhammad’s prophecies about the end of time are:

الخلافة بعدي ثلاثين عاما ثم يليه حكما
The caliphate after me will last for 30 years, then it will be replaced by monarchies.

• This is exactly what happened. The four caliphs ruled for 30 years, then the Umayyads killed Prophet Muhammad’s grandsons, Hasan and Husain, and declared the first monarchy in Islam, which was the Umayyad Empire.

وبح عمار تقتله الفئة الباغية يدعوهم إلى الجنة و يدعونه إلى النار
Woe unto Ammar (his friend); he will be killed by the tyrant group. He will invite them to Paradise, and they will invite him to Hell. (He was killed by Muawiya’s army in the Battle of Siffin at the age of 93, 26 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad.)

لن تقوم الساعة حتى ترى الحفاة العراة رعاة الشاة يتطاولون في البنيان قالوا ومن هم يا رسول الله قال العرب
The Hour of Judgment will not come until you see the barefooted, naked shepherds of camels competing to build the tallest buildings. They said, "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "The Arabs."

• (The tallest building in the world is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and the future tallest building will be in Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom Tower.)

وإذا بعجت مكة كظائم وبنيانها يعلو قمم الجبال
And until you see Mecca crammed with tunnels and its buildings reaching the tops of its mountains.

• (Today, Mecca has the most tunnels per square meter in the world to transport millions of pilgrims annually. The Clock Towers building in Mecca is the third tallest building in the world, towering over all of Mecca’s mountains.)

ولن تقوم الساعة حتى ترى الكاسيات العاريات، ويتكلم الحديد، وتتقارب الأسواق، ويكتفي الرجال بالرجال والنساء بالنساء
And the Hour of Judgment will not come until you see women who are clothed yet naked (they wear clothes but appear naked), until the iron speaks (phones, robots), until the markets become close (online shops), and until men are satisfied with men and women with women (homosexuality will spread like wildfire).

وحتى يعود اليهود إلى أرض الميعاد ويصبحون ويعلون في الأرض علوًا كبيرًا
And until the Jews return to the Promised Land and rise to great heights in the world.

يوشك الأمم أن تداعى عليكم كما تداعى الأكلة إلى قصعتها
The nations will soon summon one another to attack you as people, when eating, invite others to share their dish.
Someone asked, "Will that be because of our small numbers at that time?" The Prophet replied, "No, you will be numerous at that time, but you will be like the froth and scum of the sea, and Allah will take the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and cast wahn into your hearts."
Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is wahn?" He replied, "Love of the world and dislike of death."

وحتى يقف أمير اليهود على جبل أحد فيقول: هذا القصر الأبيض هو مسجد أحمد، فترجف المدينة ثلاث رجفات، وله يومئذ سبع أبواب، على كل باب منها ملكان
And until the Jewish prince will stand on Mount Uhud outside my city and say to his followers, "Do you see this white castle? This is the Mosque of Ahmad." Then my city will shake three times, and that day it will have seven gates, each guarded by two angels.

وقالوا: من هو مسيح اليهود؟ قال: هو رجل من بني آدم، تحدث عنه جميع الأنبياء قبلي، ولا يرى بعينه اليمنى. يخرج من أصفهان، وأول ما يخرج سبعون ألفًا من اليهود يتبعونه عليهم الطيالسة
And they asked, "Who is the Messiah of the Jews?" He said, "He is a man from the descendants of Adam, spoken of by all the prophets before me. He will emerge from Isfahan, and when he first appears, seventy thousand Jews will follow him, wearing ṭiyalasa (a decorated robe and cap worn by the Jews of Bukhara, adorned with gold like the garments of Rabbi Yosef Ovadia). He will remain on earth for forty days: the first day will be like a year, the second like a month, the third like a week, and the rest of his days will be like ordinary days."

And he will die in Bab Lud Al Sharqiy ( Tel Aviv Today )
