What's your experience with medication? (not asking for medical advice)

Hi everyone, I'm new to this subreddit - came here after a bit of a meltdown lol. Anyway, I was wondering whether other autistics have benefited from medication (i.e. anti-depressants and similar). I've been on an anti-depressant (Sertraline) since the age of 15 after what I now recognize as severe burnout, with depression and anxiety being the result. I'm 24 now and got my ASD + ADHD diagnosis last year, and the only thing my current psychiatrist changed is putting me on Wellbutrin + something to sleep (Seroquel). I'm starting to wonder if I should be on anything at all, and if I'm just being medicated for the symptoms that arise from living in an NT world. I'm not asking for medical advice, just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences and what the outcome was? Thanks :)
