Moving to Qatar, last minute questions 😅

Hi all,

I’m moving to Qatar for work next Sunday, and I’m doing some last minute shopping as so on hence a few questions.. hope you fellow Redditor’s can help me 😅

1.) is there a lot of insects in Qatar ? What sort of insect repellents/ bite relieves do you use if any?

2.) do you actually open windows at any time of the year day/night for fresh air or not at all ? I’m asking because I have a cat and I’m thinking to buy a window net so she doesn’t escape, but don’t know if there is a need to 😅

3.)I’ve seen so many posts about water in Qatar, some people say it’s so bad that I shouldn’t even use if for hair wash etc, what filters do you use if any..?

And lastly, anything I should know or buy prior to moving ? Haha
