Help, Suggestions for; A Preferred Party Compostion and Early Game Respecs...
Hi All,
I am reaching out to the BG3 veteran experts about the following...
I have decided... and I am going to run my playthrough omitting or pretty much benching Astarion, Gael, and Wyll in my party and respecing Lae'zel to Best Barbarian Build there may be (Fury?). I might create custom team of more than one Tav in party via (multi-player workaround) to substitute Gael,Wyll,Astarion as wizard, warlock and rogue. Or, I may just play with single Tav, and respec any of the other party members I'll pick up along the way into my wizard, warlock, and rogue. I will be playing Balanced difficulty btw.
I am still deciding what my main Tav will be, whether Sorlock, Stormlock, RW-EK, or Gloomstalker. I have some of my own created Tavs I am still deciding on which one of them I'll play as on this run. I am Leaning into my Half-Drow Trident-throwing Tav, or Fighter/Multiclass (Goodguy), But I'd like to see what playing (Darkside-villainous) as a Sorlock, or DragonLineage-Warlock can be like too. I'll be making my decision on that soon.
in any case, What would you experts reccommend for a party build excluding those 3 (Gael,Wyll,Astarion)?, Whom else from the story companions to respec to fill those class roles?...
What are the ideal best roles for a kick-ass party composition?...
Obviously, I don't necessarily want all 4 to be OP Sorlock's or EK's, etc... otherwise why even bring a squad of four and not just run the whole game as the dynamic duo or a solo God (No fun in that for me).
I like good team synergy, role/class-chemistry where all involved look totally badass contributing to the demise of whomever comes across them. Like the X-Men :]
if... (and thats a Big IF) I end up using any of Lae'zel, Astarion, or Wyll, I will do the following with them upon being able to respec with Withers... I will have Lae'zel as Barbarian-class, Astarion as Utilitarian-Bard, and Wyll as a Fighter-class. That's just how I see them, and my preference.
I understand that may not be "lore-accurate", But I'm not really going for that here. I have my own lore I'm playing out (don't we all?). I have more interest in the other party companions I've been able to see so far and they interest me more (such as Karlach, and Haslin...). Shadowheart is a mainstay for me, period. I will look to make her a Smiting Paladin most likely.
I can't wait to really dig into the meat n potatoes of BG3, make it to the end this time! xD
Your suggestions and help with the party build and character builds are greatly appreciated :]
