Remote watching NVidia SHIELD TV Pro as Server

I am yhnking that building NAS might be a bit too expensive for me right now. I have PC with RTX 4070 and i7 14700KF, I assume it would be too power consuming to use this 24/7 when I want to watch movies remotely. I am not too demanding in terms of movies, so no need for BluRay or anything special. I am thinking if above is too power consuming for remote viewing e.g. different country, to buy NVidia Shield TV Pro and use that as Server with 4TB My Passport Ultra which would be enough to satisfy my need for movies/tv shows (if I have it on Netflix, Disney, HBO then I use that, otherwise Plex, Hulu is not available in my country)

Would this be viable without buying or building dedicated NAS?
